True Corporation Public Company Limited (TRUE) handed a robot “True 5G Temi Connect & Cerebot” over to the Faculty of Engineering, Chiang Mai University.
Assoc. Prof. Prasert Rerkkriangkrai, vice president of Chiang Mai University and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nat Vorayos, dean of the Faculty of Engineering, received a smart robot “True 5G Temi Connect & Cerebot” from representatives of True Corporation Public Company Limited; Miss Jindapohn Manowanna, general manager of upper north region, Miss Wirada Chaikitratana, chief of commercial and student department together with 5G educational committees on 15th September 2020 at the Hall of Fame, the 30th Anniversary Building, the Faculty of Engineering, Chiang Mai University.
The main purpose of the project “True 5G World of Smart Education with Temi Robot Boot Camps” is to apply the genius technology 5G in educational institutions, to enhance smart Thai education, to create academic opportunities, to develop innovation outside the classroom and to expand ideas to business through True 5G and a smart robot. The robot can be automatically used in various services depending on functions installed such as communicating with clients and delivering groceries etc.
