ENG CMU visited Vietnamese-German University (VGU) to explore academic collaboration opportunities

On Monday, 20 October 2025, the Faculty of Engineering, Chiang Mai University visited Vietnamese-German University (VGU). The delegation was led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Korrakot Yaibuathet Tippayawong, Vice Dean and Director of Chiang Mai International Engineering School (CM-IES), Asst. Prof. Dr. Faifan Tantakitti, Assistant Dean and Deputy Director of CM-IES, and Dr. Robert Casper, Lecturer of CM-IES.

The purpose of the visit was to discuss and explore initial collaboration opportunities with the Dean of Engineering and the Head of the International Office at VGU. The meeting focused on potential areas of cooperation, including the establishment of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), student exchange programs, and future academic workshops.
