Software Agreement between Schlumberger and Chiang Mai University

CMU’s President Clinical Professor Niwes Nantachit, M.D., Associate Professor Dr. Thongchai Fongsamootr, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, also with representatives of Schlumberger Overseas S.A.; Mr.Syahir Luthfi Chan, Thailand Country Manager, and Mr. Rongrong Paramatikul, Thailand Digital Solution Delivery Lead, signed the Software Donation Agreement between Schlumberger Oversea S.A. and Chiang Mai University, on 2^nd March 2021.

Also present at the ceremony, CMU’s Vice President Associate Professor Rome Chiranukrom and representatives of Faculty of Engineering:  Assistant Professor Dr. Uttapol Smutkupt, Associate Dean for Academic Affairs; Assistant Professor Dr. Chatchawan Chaichana, Associate Dean for Research, Innovation and International Affairs; Associate Professor Dr. Pirat Jaroonpattanapong, Head of Mining and Petroleum Engineering Department; and Dr. Suparit Tangparitkul, lecturer in petroleum engineering, witnessing the online MOU signing ceremony.

This agreement aims to donate and educationally support the Petroleum Exploration and Production Software to the faculty researchers and students in the Department of Mining and Petroleum Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, CMU.
