Explore the Cutting-Edge Design College at Kookmin University

            On June 19, 2024, at 10:00 AM local time, the Faculty of Engineering, Chiang Mai University, led by the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Thongchai Fongsamootr, along with the head of the Computer Engineering Department, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Santi Phithakkitnukoon, the Deputy Head of the Department of Electrical Engineering, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Paramet Wirasanti, and a representative lecturer from the Department of Civil Engineering, Dr. Chana Sinsabvarodom, visited the College of Design at Kookmin University, South Korea.

Kookmin University is a prestigious private institution renowned for its expertise in art and design. The faculty offers diverse educational programs covering various aspects of design, including fine arts, magazine design, film, environment, and industry.

The visit aimed to strengthen cooperation and exchange knowledge and technology between the two institutions, fostering collaboration between the design and engineering sectors to drive future innovation. The warm welcome extended by Prof. Dr. Jang Jungsik, Dean of the College of Design, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Hyosun Kwon, Assistant Professor of the Department of Industrial Design, provided an excellent opportunity for mutual learning and experience exchange between students from both disciplines.
