 On June 21, 2024, at 10 AM local time, the Faculty of Engineering, Chiang Mai University, led by Associate Professor Dr. Chatchawan Chaichana, Vice Dean, along with Associate Professor Dr. Wassanai Wattanutchariya, Assistant Dean, Associate Professor Dr. Santi Phithakkitnukoon, Head of Computer Engineering Department, Associate Professor Dr. Paramet Wirasanti, the Deputy Head of Electrical Engineering Department and Associate Professor Dr. Watchapon Rojanaratnangkule, Assistant Head of Mechanical Engineering Department, visited Inha University in South Korea.

 

Inha University is a leading private university in Incheon, South Korea, established in 1954 with a mission to enhance student quality in academics, ethics, and creativity, while fostering the future of the nation. Recently, Inha University was ranked among the top universities, placing 631-640 in the QS World University Rankings 2025 and 81st in the Asian University Rankings 2025.

 

The visit was warmly welcomed by the executives of the College of Engineering, Inha University, led by Dean Jaehyun Park (The 33rd Dean of the College of Engineering, Inha University), along with the following members:

 

  • Vice Dean Gwanggi Kim (for Research)
  • Associate Dean Yongjin Lee (for Academic Affairs)
  • Associate Dean Taejun Kang (for Student Affairs)

 

The purpose of this visit to Inha University was to strengthen academic and research collaboration, particularly in the area of Carbon Capture and Storage, a joint initiative between both institutions.
