ENG, CMU Welcomes Delegation from Wenzhou Medical University

On July 25, 2024, the Faculty of Engineering, CMU welcomed a delegation from Wenzhou Medical University (WMU), People's Republic of China, led by Dr. Xia Yu, along with 33 medical students. The visit aimed to study and exchange experiences.

Dr.Faifan Tantakitti, Deputy Director of Chiang Mai International Engineering School (CM-IES), along with the staff, shared information about the international programs and activities to explore future exchange opportunities and also guided the delegation on a tour of key facilities within the faculty, fostering academic ties between the two institutions.

A highlight of the visit was a special lecture by Associate Professor Dr.Wassanai Wattanutchariya, Assistant Dean, on the topic "Food Prompt: Intelligent Technology for Nutritional Therapy and Personalized Food Production," which sparked great interest and inspiration among all attendees.

This activity marks a significant step in enhancing international friendship and opens a new dimension of cross-disciplinary knowledge exchange between engineering and medicine. It is anticipated to lead to innovations that will elevate the public health sector and improve the quality of life for humanity in the future.
