ENG CMU Welcomed Senior Executives from Tokyo Institute of Technology

On Thursday, August 22, 2024, the Faculty of Engineering, Chiang Mai University, welcomed senior executives from Tokyo Institute of Technology, Japan, led by Professor Nobuhiro Hayashi, Vice President for International Affairs, and Professor Tatsuya Mizukoshi, Senior University Research Administrator (URS).

Associate Professor Dr. Thongchai Fongsamoort, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, together with other administrators from the Faculty of Engineering and Multidisciplinary and Interdisciplinary School, extended a warm welcome. They engaged in discussions on various aspects of collaboration, aiming to strengthen the relationship between the two institutions. The discussions focused on academic collaboration, scientific and technological research, and exchange programs for students and staff. The meeting was held at the Teeyaporn meeting room, 6th Floor, 30th Anniversary Building, Faculty of Engineering, from 14:30 to 15:30, with participants from both institutions.

This visit marks a significant step in enhancing collaboration between Chiang Mai University and Tokyo Institute of Technology, which is expected to lead to further academic and research developments in the future.
