Building Bridges: Urban Intelligence Research Team Engages with NUS (National University of Singapore)

On October 2, 2024, the Frontier Research in Urban Intelligence team from the Faculty of Engineering, led by Associate Professor Dr. Santi Phithakkitnukoon (Department of Computer Engineering), Associate Professor Dr. Napat Jakrawatana (Department of Environmental Engineering), Assistant Professor Dr. Chinapat Buachart (Department of Civil Engineering), and Mr. Thanachot Muangjai (Engineer), attended a meeting to discuss, exchange ideas, and establish a collaborative network. This meeting was held at the invitation of Assistant Professor Dr. Filip Biljecki from the Urban Analytics Lab, Department of Architecture, National University of Singapore (NUS).

During the meeting, the team presented their research progress and shared experiences in key areas including urban informatics, circular economy, sustainable city development, dynamic structural properties, and the use of UAV-LiDAR technology in construction. The discussion also explored the potential for future research collaborations and student exchange programs between the two universities.
