11 November 2024, Faculty of Engineering, Chiang Mai University had the pleasure of welcoming Assoc. Prof. Dr. CHAN Ying-Chieh and graduate students from National Taiwan University to the NTU-CMU Mini Symposium 2024. This year’s theme, “Building Tomorrow’s Cities: AI and Sustainability in Civil Engineering,” brought together innovative minds to envision the cities of the future.

Hosted by Frontier Research in Urban Intelligence - CMU, the symposium highlighted the transformative potential of artificial intelligence and sustainable practices in urban development. Thirteen researchers and graduate students from CMU and NTU shared their latest research, presenting groundbreaking ideas and forward-thinking solutions for smart cities and innovation.

This event was a unique opportunity to exchange knowledge and foster collaboration, pushing the boundaries of what’s possible for sustainable, intelligent urban spaces.
