On 14-16 January 2025 Assoc.Prof.Dr. Woradej Manosroi the delegate from The Faculty of Engineering, Chiang Mai University has attended the ECO-Wind project kick off meeting at The University of Agder, Norway with the delegates from The University of Agder, Norway, The Tallin University of Technology, Estonia, Can Tho University, Vietnam, Quy Nhon University, Vietnam and Prince of Songkla University, Thailand.  The objective of this project is to enhance wind energy in term of maintenance in Thailand and Vietnam.

The meeting was discussed:   

  • Wind energy curriculum modernization base on maintenance.
  • The data collection for wind turbine maintenance strategies.
  • Reducing operational costs and improving efficiency for wind turbine.

This project support by Erasmus+ and will solve the problem in maintenance and local capacity in wind energy to be provided the sustainable energy in the future.
