Faculty of Engineering, Chiang Mai University welcomed a delegation from Nagoya Institute of Technology (NITech), Japan

The Faculty of Engineering, Chiang Mai University, welcomed a delegation from Nagoya Institute of Technology (NITech), Japan led by Assistant Professor Dr. Korrakot Yaibuathet Tippayawong, Deputy Dean and Director of Chiang Mai International Engineering School, along with Miss Usanee Pongsawaleesri, Head of Office. They warmly received Mr. Yoshihiro ASAMI (Assistant Manager, International Affairs Division) and Ms. Ayako SHIMADA (Chief, International Affairs Division) from NITech. 

The purpose of this visit was to discuss academic collaboration between the two institutions under the existing MOU for the Student Exchange Program with CMU and to explore opportunities for research scholarships and short-term exchange projects for future cooperation. 

The meeting took place on March 5, 2025, at the Teeyaporn Meeting Room, 6th Floor, 30 Years Anniversary Building. Following the meeting, the NITech delegation toured the facilities and resources of the Faculty of Engineering, further strengthening the strong partnership between the two institutions.
