Mechanical Engineering CMU & TUL in collaboration to organize a special lecture title “Automatization and Robotizationin the Glass Industry”

The Department of Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Chiang Mai University, in collaboration with the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Technical University of Liberec (TUL), organized a special lecture titled "Automatization and Robotization in the Glass Industry", delivered by Assoc. Prof. Vlastimil Hotar, an expert from the Department of Glass Producing Machines and Robotics, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Technical University of Liberec (TUL), Czech Republic.

The lecture took place on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, at the conference room of Mechanical Engineering Building 2, Faculty of Engineering, Chiang Mai University. This event aimed to share knowledge and modern technologies related to automation and robotics in the glass manufacturing industry. It also served as a platform for academic exchange and learning with international experts.

Following the lecture, a hands-on workshop was conducted under the topic "Robotics and Automation – Tools for Effective Hands-on Engineering Education." The workshop aimed to promote robotics and automation learning through practical, hands-on experience, with the goal of enhancing students’ capabilities to effectively apply engineering knowledge in real-world scenarios.
