            On Monday, 9 June 2025, the Faculty of Engineering, Chiang Mai University, held a productive meeting with the Consul of India in Chiang Mai, Mr. Pranav Ganesh, at the Consulate of India in Chiang Mai. The Representing the Faculty were:

  • Prof. Dr. Korrakot Yaibuathet Tippayawong, Vice Dean and Director of Chiang Mai International Engineering School (CM-IES)
  • Prof. Dr. Faifan Tantakitti, Assistant Dean and Deputy Director of CM-IES

They were accompanied by Miss Usanee Pongsawaleesri, Head of CM-IES office along with the CM-IES staffs involved in this meeting.

The meeting served as a valuable platform to explore opportunities for promoting CMU’s international engineering undergraduate programs to Indian students. Discussions also included potential collaborations in student exchange programs and joint academic activities. This marks an important first step toward strengthening academic relations and fostering long-term cooperation between Thailand and India.
