Engineering, Chiang Mai University warmly welcomed a delegation from Gangneung-Wonju National University (GWNU), Republic of Korea

On Wednesday, July 2, 2025, the Faculty of Engineering, Chiang Mai University warmly welcomed a delegation from Gangneung-Wonju National University (GWNU), Republic of Korea, on the occasion of their visit to explore opportunities for building academic collaboration and strengthening mutual ties.

The GWNU delegation held a discussion with Asst. Prof. Dr. Korrakot Yaibuathet Tippayawong, Associate Dean, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sermsak Uatrongjit, Lecturer from the Department of Electrical Engineering, to exchange ideas and explore potential areas for cooperation. Key topics included joint research initiatives, student exchange programs, and strategic planning for long-term academic collaboration.

This visit marked a significant start toward establishing academic relations between Gangneung-Wonju National University and the Faculty of Engineering, Chiang Mai University. It reflected a shared commitment to enhancing the quality of education and research on an international scale.
