CMU Engineering Welcomed Delegates from Xiamen University,P.R.China

On Monday, August 25, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., at the Faculty of Architecture Meeting Room, Chiang Mai University, the Faculty of Engineering, Chiang Mai University (CMU Engineering), led by Assoc. Prof. Thongchai Fongsamootr, Ph.D., Dean, together with Asst. Prof. Preeda Pitchayaphan, Ph.D., Head of the Department of Civil Engineering, and Miss Natthanan Phanbunplook, International Relations Officer, warmly welcomed Prof. WANG Shaosen, Chairman of the School of Architecture and Civil Engineering, and Prof. WANG Liangliang, Professor, from Xiamen University, People’s Republic of China.

The purpose of this meeting was to explore opportunities for academic collaboration between CMU’s Faculty of Engineering and Faculty of Architecture and Xiamen University. Discussions highlighted potential areas of cooperation, including student exchange programs, sharing fieldwork experiences, and joint research initiatives.

This visit marked an important step in strengthening the relationship between the two universities and laid the foundation for future academic collaboration at the international level between Chiang Mai University and Xiamen University.
