On Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at 9:00 a.m., at the Phraya Sri Visarn Vacha Meeting Room, University Office Building 1, Chiang Mai University, representatives of the Faculty of Engineering, Chiang Mai University, led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Korrakot Yaibuathet Tippayawong, Vice Dean and Director of the Chiang Mai International Engineering School (CM-IES), together with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Poti Chaopaisarn and Asst. Prof. Dr. Wapee Manopiniwes (Lecturers, Department of Industrial Engineering), Asst. Prof. Dr. Navadon Khunlertgit and Dr. Nopparuj Suetrong (Lecturers, Department of Computer Engineering), Miss Usanee Pongsawaleesri (Head of CM-IES), and Miss Natthanan Phanbunplook (International Relations Officer), warmly welcomed Mr. Joseph d’Hedouville, Chief Operating Officer and Founder of DHE & Associates Aerospace Advisory Services, and his delegation.

The meeting was convened to discuss potential frameworks for academic and research collaboration with representatives from the University of North Dakota (UND), Kent State University, USA, and the Defence Institute of Technology (DIT), Thailand who joined the meeting online.

Key areas of discussion included joint curriculum development, student and researcher exchange programs, and collaborative research initiatives in fields of strategic importance, particularly Cyber Security and Logistics, which are priority domains for CMU Engineering.

This engagement represents another significant milestone in advancing the academic mission and innovation agenda of Engineering CMU, reinforcing its vision to become a leading international institution. It also opens new opportunities for faculty members, researchers, and students to expand their expertise, foster innovation, and establish strong global networks with distinguished academic and industry partners worldwide.
