CM-IES Welcomes New International Engineering Program Students 2024

Chiang Mai International Engineering School (CM-IES) at the Faculty of Engineering, Chiang Mai University, hosted a New Student Orientation with CM-IES 2024 on June 14, 2024, to welcome incoming students to the international engineering programs at the Faculty of Engineering, Chiang Mai University.
The event aimed to help students integrate into the university's academic and cultural community.

Assistant Professor Dr. Korrakot Yaibuathet Tippayawong, Director of CM-IES, inaugurated the event with a speech emphasizing the importance of transitioning from high school to university. CM-IES staff, alongside representatives from the international engineering programs, provided essential information on courses, registration and useful tips for new students to thrive in the first year.

An icebreaking session was held to help students acclimate to their new environment and foster connections with classmates, faculty members, and university staff. The day concluded with an advisor meeting, allowing students to meet and connect with their academic advisors.
