The Faculty of Engineering, Chiang Mai University, led by Assoc.Prof.Dr.Thongchai Fongsamootr, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, embarked on a visit to King's College London in England on 20th March 2024. The delegation, including Asst.Prof.Dr.Chatchawan Chaichana, Assoc.Prof.Dr.Santi Phithakkitnukoon, Dr.Jenjira Jaimunk and the team from College of Arts, Media and Technology, CMU, Assoc.Prof.Dr.Worawit Janchai, Dr.Danaitun Pongpatcharatrontep and Dr.Pakinee Ariya, aimed to explore collaboration opportunities with one of the world's top 50 universities.

Supported by Chiang Mai University and the "Person to Organization Program (P2O)" the team secured funding for their project on Cyber Security and Data Privacy. Discussions during the visit centered on fostering mutual collaboration, resulting in the agreement to establish a memorandum of understanding (MOU) between the two prestigious institutions.

The delegation met with key representatives from King's College London, including Prof.Luca Vigano, Vice Dean NMES, Prof.Maribel Fernandez, Deputy Head of the Department of Informatics and Edward Danks from the Global Engagement team. Deliberations focused on exploring avenues for collaboration in the field of cyber security.

This visit marks a significant step forward in strengthening international partnerships and advancing research in cyber security between Chiang Mai University and King's College London.
