The National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT) has announced the selection results for Dr. Jenjira Jaimunk, Lecturer from the Department of Computer Engineering, to participate in the STS forum Young Leaders Program 2024, to be held from October 5-8, 2024, in Kyoto, Japan.

The “STS forum Young Leaders Program” aims to provide opportunities for up to 130 young scientists and researchers with leadership qualities to participate in the annual “STS forum Annual Meeting” and a special event titled “Dialogue between Young Leaders and Nobel Laureates.” Participants will have the chance to engage in informal discussions with Nobel Prize-winning scientists. The program benefits participants by fostering networking among young scientists and researchers, as well as with leaders and key figures in global science and technology.

The NRCT supports the registration fee for the event (70,000 yen) and travel expenses, including round-trip economy class airfare from Bangkok to Japan, domestic travel in Japan, and accommodation in Japan for the selected participants.
