ENG CMU and Ornsirin Holding Signed MOU for Engineering Excellence

The Faculty of Engineering at Chiang Mai University signed an academic cooperation memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Ornsirin Holding Public Company Limited on January 22, 2025, at 10:00 AM, in the Hall of Fame, 6th Floor, 30th Anniversary Building, Faculty of Engineering.

The signing ceremony was honored by the presence of Associate Professor Dr. Thongchai Fongsamoort, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, and Mr. Predikorn Buranupakorn, CEO of Ornsirin Holding Public Company Limited, as the signatories. The ceremony was also attended by executives and representatives from both parties, who served as witnesses.

The purpose of this agreement is to strengthen the relationship and collaboration between academy and industry. It aims to support postgraduate students in conducting research that aligns with the needs of Ornsirin Holding. This collaboration will not only contribute to the development of new knowledge but also enhance the company's competitive edge in the long term. In terms of research, the partnership encourages collaborative projects with the Frontier Research Urban Intelligence group of the Faculty of Engineering, CMU, focusing on producing impactful research that benefits both academia and industrial applications.
