During 2^nd-6^th June, 2024, Asst. Prof. Dr. Pinyo Puangmali, head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, and Dr. Faifan Tantakitti, deputy director of the Faculty of Engineering’s Chiang Mai International Engineering School, represented their department and faculty during a visit to the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at the Technical University of Liberec in Liberec, Czech Republic. During their visit, they shared research activities on robotics and medical devices and discussed potential actions to foster a stronger relationship.

The Technical University of Liberec is a well-known educational institution in Europe, particularly for materials and textile engineering. It also has a strong collaboration Czech automobile manufacturer. Earlier this year, Chiang Mai University and the Technical University of Liberec signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to exchange academic personnel and develop research collaborations.
