Engineering CMU Delegation Visited College of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, NUAA for Future Collaborations

On the morning of November 8, 2024, in the morning Assoc. Prof. Dr. Thongchai Fongsamootr, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, led a faculty delegation to the College of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering at Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics (NUAA) to explore opportunities for future collaboration.

The CMU delegation included:

  2. Asst. Prof. Dr. Korrakot Yaibuathet Tippayawong, Assistant Dean and Director of CM-IES
  3. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Watchapon Rojanaratanangkule, Lecturer, Department of Mechanical Engineering
  4. Dr. Krit Sujarittam, Lecturer, Department of Mechanical Engineering
  5. Dr. Kittiya Thunsiri, Lecturer, Robotics Engineering and AI Program
  6. Ms. Usanee Pongsawaleesri, Head of Chiang Mai International Engineering School

They were warmly welcomed by Professor Zhao Guolong, Assistant Dean, along with Professors Guo Qintao and Ding Shuo.

The visit aimed to strengthen academic and research ties between CMU and NUAA, fostering potential collaborations in areas such as student exchange, Professor Matching, joint laboratory initiatives, and securing funding opportunities, such as through the Chinese Scholarship Council (CSC), to support future projects in Mechanical, Electrical, and Robotics Engineering.
