Prof.Dr.Peerapong Jitsangiam from the Department of Civil Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering, Chiang Mai University, has been awarded a £12,000 grant from the Royal Society UK. The grant, awarded under the International Exchanges scheme, is designated for facilitating collaborative efforts between the UK and Thailand. The grant will support collaborative research with Dr.Jiawei Wang from Aston University in Birmingham, England on a project titled “Innovative Hybrid Mix Design for Asphalt Concrete Incorporating Plastic Waste: Pyrolyzed Wax and Polymer-coated Aggregate Approach”. The project commences from 31^st March 2024 to 30^th March 2026.
