On 26^th July 2024 — Assistant Professor Todsaporn Pichaya, Vice President of Chiang Mai University (CMU) and Associate Professor Dr. Thongchai Fongsamoot, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, led a delegation to RMIT University to explore future collaborations.

The CMU representatives included a team from various engineering departments such as Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Environmental Engineering. They were welcomed by Professor Tuck Wah Leong, Deputy Dean of Learning & Teaching in the School of Computing Technologies and Director of the Apple Foundation Program at RMIT.

The visit aimed to strengthen academic and research ties between CMU and RMIT University, fostering potential collaborations in the fields of computing and engineering.
